River View Board of Education Notes – Coshocton Tribune

WARSAW — The River View Local Schools Board of Education met recently in regular session to conduct routine business of the district. 

Donations for September were $20,985. This included $12,000 from Coca Cola Consolidated for general operations, $2,500 from Coshocton Regional Medical Center and $2,000 from Gemini Sports Cards for a golf cart and $1,400 from Veterans of Foreign Wars for sports programs. 

River View High School choir and band will travel to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, from June 6 to 11. Dance Club was added to the high school. 

Swim boosters will pay the rental cost for the swim team to the use the pool at Coshocton High School. Coaches approved were Scott King and Megan Philabaum as assistant swim coaches, Rich West and Mike Albertson as varsity assistant boys basketball coaches, Gary Giffin for junior varsity boys basketball, Denny Holt for freshmen boys basketball, Vince Andrews for eighth grade boys basketball, Jake Gossman for seventh grade boys basketball, Brian Yoder for volunteer assistant girls basketball, Amy Johnson for junior varsity girls basketball, Wes Brenly for eighth grade girl basketball and Renina Brenly for seventh grade girls basketball. 

Members of the Highly Qualified Student Data Team were approved along with a stipend of no less than $25 and no more than $50 per meeting for committee work required outside of the school day. The LPDC committee members were also approved. 

Haylee Babcock has resigned as a paraprofessional at Warsaw Elementary. Sarah King was hired as a replacement
