River View Schools Board of Education notes – Coshocton Tribune

WARSAW — The River View Local Schools Board of Education recently held a regular meeting to conduct routine business of the district.

Donations from July were $800 from Given Dawson Funeral Home for T-shirts for students and $369.90 from the United Way of Coshocton. A teacher in-service day was moved from March 11 to Sept. 3.

Coshocton Career and Collage Access Students Services was approved to provide services for the district for the coming school year for $5,000. The Buckeye Association of School Administration membership was approved for the year for $1,149.91. Security Voice – One Call Now and Safe Schools Helpline Services was approved for $4,612.05 for the year. The Independent Educational Evaluation contract with East Central Ohio Education Service Center was signed for $1,500 for the year. The instructor assistants agreements with the Coshocton County Board of Developmental Disabilities was approved for $80,650.  A contract for school psychologist services was approved for $84,240 with the Fairfield County Educational Service Center and Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center. 

Sports coaches approved for the year were Megan Philabaum for cross county, Heather Cochran for junior high cross country, Jesse Cochran as a volunteer assistant for cross country and Colton Kelso as a volunteer assistant for football. Kevin Fry moved from being a volunteer assistant for football to the freshmen coach and Jeff Vickers went from volunteer assistant for football to freshmen assistant coach.
